Antivirus scans started by right-clicking a computer and selecting the "LANDesk Antivirus scan now" option from the console, do not return a successful status.
The status sometimes returns a failed status such as "Lost contact".
Other times it just shows running and never shows success or failure.
For LANDesk Management Suite 8.8 apply patch AV-4542588.4-2.
Note: This patch is only available for the new AV engine that is included in SP4 and does require the SP4 agent to be installed on the client.
For LANDesk Management Suite 9 apply Service Pack 2 and the latest Antivirus patch.
