WebDesk does not automatically save changes to a record when an Action is performed.

    Issue:

     

    In Console and Service Portal, when you make a change to a record, say the Description field, then immediately perform an Action, the changes you made to the field are automatically saved.  This does not happen in WebDesk

     

     

    Explanation:

     

    WebDesk was written with performance in mind, and, unlike Console and Service Portal, it does not automatically detect changes to records.  To do so would mean more network traffic and extra CPU usage on the server and/or client, which has been seen to affect performance in Service Portal.
