Unable to set default reports path for crystal reports because network discovery does not find the server with the reports share

Version 2

    Problem:
Unable to set default reports path for crystal reports because network discovery does not find the server with the reports share

    Cause:
Network discovery is not enabled or not discovering the server where the reports share resides.

    Solution:
Take a full backup of the Service Desk database before proceeding.
From SQL Server Management Studio, find the database and expand tables.
Right click on the tps_application_settings and select edit Top 200 rows.
Look at the tps_name and scroll down until you find the tps_name called "CRYSTALCONFIG"
Modify the tps_value for CrystalConfig by double clicking in the field.
Highlight the entire entry and copy and past into notepad.
The last entry in this line will be:
    <defaultobjreportpath></defaultobjreportpath>

Modify this line to include the UNC path to the report share
    Example:
    <defaultobjreportpath>\\SERVERNAME\LANDesk Reports</defaultobjreportpath>

After making the modification to this line, copy the entire contents from notepad back to the CrystalConfig line.
Then highlight another field and click on Execute to commit changes to the database.

The default reports path should now be set to the location specified.
