    • (January 17, 2011) Microsoft has released Security Advisory (2488013) which describes a vulnerability in Internet Explorer that could allow remote code execution. Microsoft’s KB2488013 provides a Fix it solution which implements the workaround to disable the recursive loading of the cascading style sheets.

Customers of Internet Explorer who have not already applied the MS10-090 update must also apply the MS10-090 update before enabling this workaround. There are some limitations when attempting to install the Microsoft Fix it solution. The built-in Windows System Account that LANDesk Patch Manager uses to install patches in unable to install this Fix it patch. In order to resolve this install issue, LANDesk will write the Microsoft Fix it install command line to the RUNONCE registry key. When the user logs into the computer the Fix it patch will be applied using the currently logged in user.
