    Problem:

    Only SA is able to log into the console as the Analyst licenses have been exceeded. 

    Under analysts, they are under the analyst license count and still can not log on.

     

    Cause:

    Some analysts were converted to end users and are still taking up an analyst license.

     

    Solution:

    Take a full backup of the Service Desk database

    Run the following scipt to make sure all end users are using the end user license. 

     

    Update tps_user set tps_user_licence_type_guid = '71A0C1FC-110D-4241-99B1-46F9E3A93743'

    where tps_user_type_guid = '4D7FB1E3-15DC-4923-BCFE-B12F47C5B0B0'

     

    Note:  The users that are listed as analysts will still need to be at or under the analyst license count to be able to log in.  This script is for analysts that were converted to end users and are still taking up an analyst license.
