How to enable logging for a roll-up core.

    See the following steps to enable logging on a roll-up core.

     

    1.  Find the shortcut for the LANDesk Rollup Database and add the path of the shortcut to the start in path (environment variables).  I.E. "C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite"

    2.  Open a registry editor

    3.  Add a dword value 'rollup log' under HKLM\Software\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\Core and set the value to 1

    4.  Close the Rollup Utility if it is open.

    5.  Open the Rollup Utility and roll-up the database.  If an error occurs, see the log file in folder that is the same as the shortcut for the Rollup Utility--in our case C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite.  The log file will be named rollup_linkname.log
