    The following table lists the compatibility between Service Desk and IEM/LDMS versions for Data Import and Desktop Manager integration.

    There is an alternative way to import data from IEM/LDMS into SD using database views. This alternative is version independent and works with any LDSD/IEM/LDMS combination.

    * Using LANDESK Management Suite V9.5 with LANDESK Service Desk v7.7.3 - v10.0

    By default, LANDESK Service Desk v7.7.3 and higher are configured to work with v9.6 of LANDESK Management Suite. However, a zip file is installed with Service Desk that enables you to use Management Suite 9.5. with SD v7.7.3 to v10.0

     

    To use Management Suite 9.5 with LANDESK Service Desk v7.7.3 - v2016.0:

    1. On every client and server computer where you have installed LDSD, extract the zip file C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\Service Desk\Console\SupportLDMS95.zip.

    2. From the extracted SupportLDMS95 folder, run Run.bat.

     

    Note 1: The files used for integration with LDMS95 replaces those used for integration with LDMS96.

    Note 2: For SD v7.8.2 only, ensure you have the latest Hotfix for 7.8.2 Service Desk 7.8.2 Cumulative Hotfixes applied prior to following the steps above.

     

    Known Problem with COM+

     

    As the LDMS 9.5 application is 32 bit the 64bit SD console cannot access the LDMS components right away.

    To allow the 64bit Console to interact with the LDMS 9.5 components a COM+ component needs to be installed to support the Console.
