LANDesk Service Desk 7.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) was released July 6, 2012. This release delivers a number of improvements to LANDesk Service Desk 7.5 (released in January 2012) including:
- Fixes for +50 sustaining issues. Please refer to this document for the list of issues fixed. LANDesk Service Desk Suite 7.5 Service Pack 1 Issues Fixed
- Mobile Web Desk improvements, including support for Windows Phone 7
- Improvements to the Web Access platform
In addition to these improvements, this Service Pack also includes two new language versions– Spanish and Chinese Simplified. Finally, the Service Desk 7.5 Feature Pack delivering the first phase of multi-language support capability has also been incorporated into this release.
Installing the Service Pack
The Service Pack installer is a self-contained installer package. This means the installer can be used to install Service Desk 7.5 SP1 with or without version 7.5 already installed. Version 7.5 does not need to be uninstalled prior to installing SP1. However previous versions of LANDesk Service Desk must be uninstalled in order to run the Service Pack Installer.
Please note that the database is upgraded as part of the install, rolling back would require the previous database to be restored.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not need a new licence if you are moving from Service Desk 7.5 to 7.5SP1. If you are moving from an earlier version you will need to speak your LANDesk representative to request a new software licence
