AMC 501: License server Stops Responding

    This article covers a known issue in AMC 501 with the license server after installation and importing a backup.

     

    Description:

     

    After installing AMC and importing a backup from a previous version of AMC, the license server may stop functioning and device may become unlicensed.

     

    Resolution:

     

    If this issue should occur you will need to obtain a copy of the bat file called, "clear_license.bat" from Wavelink support.. Running this bat file will remove all licensing from the license server and the PostGress Database. At this point you will need to reenter your license information and the license server should start working normally.
