Configuring Multiple Instances for ConnectPro

Version 1

    Environment

    Any ConnectPro or Termproxy version

    Question

    Can I configure multiple instances for ConnectPro to use?

    Response

    You can configure multiple instances for Termproxy using the below format.

    (look for the proxy1, proxy2, and proxy3)

    // This is the connection to the telnet/ssh host.

    hostservice host1

    connect 10.20.1.24:23

    ssh off

    timeout 15m

    undeliverable retain

    reconnect-buffer 5000

    // The next two lines (if uncommented) allow an AS/400 Workstation ID to be detected.

    // codeset EBCDIC

    // stationid-template "Display[ .]+:\s+(.+?)[ ]"

    // This is the connection to the telnet/ssh client.

    proxyservice proxy1

    server host1

    listen 0.0.0.0:4430

    timeout 15m

    ssl off

    proxyservice proxy2

    server host1

    listen 0.0.0.0:4431

    timeout 15m

    ssl off

    proxyservice proxy3

    server host1

    listen 0.0.0.0:4432

    timeout 15m

    ssl off

    Additional Notes

    You will need to have separate host profile configurations for each proxy service because the connection port will be different for each proxy. You can also "suspend" an individual proxy service from the status window in termproxy.
