Macintosh AV does not completely Uninstall

    Problem

     

    When running the UninstallMacAgent.sh script the LANDesk AntiVirus for OSX does not get uninstalled, or is only partially removed.

     

    Solution

     

    Here are the steps to setup the uninstall script.



    1- In the LANDesk Console go to Tools- Distribution- Manage Scripts

    2- Right click on the the My Scripts folder, select New Custom Script.

    3- Delete all the text that is pre-populated.

    4- Copy and Paste the following into the Script.

    5- Name the script "Mac AV and Agent Uninstall"

    6- Save the script.

    7- Right click on the script, and select Schedule.

    8- Add some of the affected machines to the task and run the task.

    9- Once the task has completed, reboot the clients and then reinstall the LANDesk Agent with Mac AV.
