    Description

    LANDesk1 COM+ Application Identity is using a disabled Active Directory Account.

     

    When trying to log into the Web Console, the following error occurs:

     

     

    Unable to validate the current user with the database.

     

    Troubleshooting

    1. Enabling logging by adding a registry key to the Core Server: HKLM\Software\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\Core Type: DWORD Name: LogEvents Value: 1
    2. Try to log into the Web Console again.

    Cause

    LANDesk1 COM+ Application Identity is using a disabled Active Directory Account.

     

    Note: Error 1331 is a standard Microsoft return code. It evaluates to ERROR_ACCOUNT_DISABLED and means Logon failure: account currently disabled. This and other Microsoft error codes can be looked up here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms681381.aspx.

     

    Resolution

    Unlock the account in Active Directory.
