Unable to use HTML5 remote control via Management Gateway with Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10

    LANDesk Management Suite 9.5 SP1

     

    Problem/Issue/Symptoms

     

    Remote controlling a client using HTML5 via the Management Gateway - Cloud Services Appliance doesn't work when using Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10.

     

    Cause

     

    This is LANDesk Management Suite 9.5 SP1 known issue, solved with a component patch.

     

    Solution

     

    The first and most immediate workaround is using  an alternative web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

     

    To fix the issue, install the latest patch available for LANDesk Management Suite 9.5 SP1 from this page:
