LDMS - All Versions
When installing/upgrading the remote console you get a failure on the "Installing the Remote Console" step.
When clicking on the link "View Log", you will find something like;

The 1619 error is related not being able to open a file or a file missing: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
You may first check if the file "landesk software.msi" given is existing at the path given. If yes, you need to give Read access rights to the folder where "landesk software.msi" is for the Windows account running the Remote Console Installation File "Setup.exe" which may be the Windows account on which you are logged in on the computer where you install the Remote Console.
If still not working, please try to run the Remote Console Installation File "Setup.exe" as a Domain Admin account.
