    • A pop up appears and ask to install the Mozilla/Firefox plugin

This seems to be due to a problem with recent web browsers not allowing ExecViewer2.dll to call the Legacy Remote Control console.

From the machine you are trying to use the web console on:

    • Locate your “ExecViewer2.dll” file, which is usually in:
    Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\ServerManager\RCViewer\
    • Open a command prompt as administrator and type in:
    regsvr32 “C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\ServerManager\RCViewer\ExecViewer2.dll"

        Internet Explorer

    • If using IE, open the Tools / Compatibility View settings and add your Core server:

    • If using Firefox, once you have installed IE Tab add-on, open your addons page: about:addons
    • Open the IE Tab Options and add your Corse server name to your sites list

    • If using Chrome, the settings are done automatically
