How to Troubleshoot device to LM Server connection problems

    Where can I look to start troubleshooting device to LM Server connection problem?



    A good place to start investigating connection problems would be to look at the ActiveSync Debug logs for the particular user that is having problems.

    To do this you will need to log into the LM Administrator Console and search for the user that is having the problems:

    Click on the ActiveSync Debug logging icon for that user (the one that looks like a paper)


    Logs can be viewed from your browser:




    Be sure that Debug logging is enabled for that particular user:




    These logs will tell you if the device is even communicating with the server, and if it is and having additional problem, they will help shed some light on the problem.
