AMC: How to generate report to show the inventory list of devices at each store or group location

    Environment:

    Avalanche MC 5.3.1

    Web Console Reporting

    Group locations representing store locations

     

    How to:

    How to create and schedule reports for group locations (representing individual stores)

     

    Step-by-Step & Video:

    1. Log into the Web Console
    2. Click on Tools > Reports
    3. In the 'Configured Reports' click [New]
    4. Select the type of report you would like to run periodically for your Group Location (in the example you select 'Mobile Device Inventory')
    5. Click the 'Choose Scope' button
    6. Expand the navigation tree down to your desired group location (in the example you select 'Store 2020')
    7. Click Next
    8. Name the Report
    9. Select the Output format
    10. Click Next
    11. Click Finish

     

    Repeat until you are done creating the reports

     

    How to Schedule Reports:

    1. Log into the Web Console
    2. Click on Tools > Reports
    3. In the 'Configured Reports' check the box next to the report you want to schedule
    4. In the 'Configured Reports' Click 'Schedule'
    5. Set the type of schedule you want to use for scheduling (example shows setting running monthly on the 31st starting December 31 2014)
    6. Click Next
    7. Select the day of the month you want it to be run on (example shows the 31, but I suggest setting it for the 28th or the 1st of the month)
    8. Finish
