Issue: Tasks are stuck in active with the result "Client has initiated asynchronous policy execution"

    Tasks stuck at "Client has initiated asynchronous policy execution" message.
    The C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\landesk\files\ClientPolicies\CP.TaskID#.RunNow.xml is not getting created on the Core Server.
    The following is in the POLICYTASKHANDLER.EXE.LOG file on the Core Server:

    GenerateHash: C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\landesk\files\ClientPolicies\CP.TaskID#.RunNow.xml does not exists, clear hash



    Fix the permissions on the C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\landesk\files\ClientPolicies folder on the Core Server.

    In properties of the ClientPolicies folder on the Security tab, make sure the following groups/users exist with the permissions listed:

    IUSR - Read & Execute. List and Read

    System - Full Control

    Network Service - Full Control

    LANDESK Management Suite - Full Control

    LANDESK Administrators - Full Control

    Administrators - Full Control
