    Headlines

    ·     (May 20, 2015) With the release of LDMS 9.6 Service Pack 2, LANDESK is also releasing Patch Manager content to support this update. This is the latest Service Pack (SP2) for LANDESK Management Suite 9.6. This SP provides the latest defect fixes and updates which improve performance and stability.  .NET Framework 4.5 is a prerequisite for the SP2 installer. .NET Framework 4.5 is included in LD-SP96-SP2-PREREQ.     .NET Framework 4.5 is required for the Remote Console Patch

    Please ensure that .NET Framework 4.5 is installed prior to installation of the Console Patch.   (By default Windows 7 does not have .NET Framework 4.5 installed)

     

     

    The recommended installation method is to install the Console patch via Patch Manager using the LD-SP96-SP2 definition.   This patch includes the .NET 4.5 prerequisite and the Console patch will not install if .NET 4.5 is not installed.  Installation of the Console patch without .NET Framework 4.5 installed will result in a failure during installation or the Remote Console will crash upon start.
