When creating a query or object shortcut, for some users there are Modules missing.
This is because none of the groups/roles that the user is a part of has the right privileges to view these modules
From your administration tab browse to the group/role, select it and then click on Privileges.
Select the desired module and click on the Privilege Settings Wizard. A new window will pop up, select Read and press next.
If you want the Child Privileges to remain intact, untick Clear Child Privileges and press Finish.
Log off and log back in, the Module should now be visible.
