How to add a Prefix for Incident/Problem/Change/Call/Task with I, P, C, T etc..

    Problem

    When producing Workload Lists it's not easy to tell what type of process each row in the list originates from.  The reference number can be prefixed by I:, P:, C:, T: etc to show these differences.

     

    Solution

    Open Object Designer in a console and modify the Process Manager-> Process Object.  Add a new attribute called newref.  Then modify your windows and add the new attribute to your incident/problem/change/task windows.  Then run the attached scripts.

     

    The attached scripts can be altered to show Incident:, Task: (or whatever is required) etc if required.
