CETerm tool - CENert seems to not restore all the saved registry key values

Version 1

CENert seems to not restore all the saved registry key values

All our products maintain their configuration settings in the registry under the key HKLM\Software\Naurtech\<product_name>

     where <product_name> is CETerm, CEVT220, CE5250 or CE3270

The CENert utility can be used to backup and restore the registry keys so that these persist over a cold boot.

If it seems that all saved registry settings are not restored by CENert, then it may be due to an empty binary keymap in the registry file. This does not happen during normal CETerm use, but can happen when using direct registry restore for configuration.

Look for a keymap entry in the saved .reg file that has no content. It may start like this:

     [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Naurtech\CETerm\AccelTables] "Table6"=hex: "Table3"=hex:      13,00,4f,00,ec,e9,00,00

Registry values after "Table6" will not be properly restored.

The solution is to delete the line: "Table6"=hex:
