    Question

    The launch toolbar is the toolbar at the top of the screen that allows you to type an id and quickly launch the item.

    Answer

    To add to the launch toolbar edit the  LaunchToolbarConfig.xml. This file is located in your service desk console folder so by default this will be located in one of the paths below

    \program files or program files (x86)\touchpaper software\touchpaper console.

    \program files or program files (x86)\LANDesk\LANDesk ServiceDesk

    \program files or program files (x86)\landesk\servicedesk\console

     

    Here is an example for adding in the Call domain:

     

    LaunchToolbarConfig.xml

     

        <LaunchToolbarConfigType>
          <module>CallManagement</module>
          <classname>Call</classname>
          <launchattribute>Id</launchattribute>
          <datatype>0</datatype>
          <launchasprocess>true</launchasprocess>

    For Request Management domain see example below:
