Blue screen on clients with LANDESK installed with Antivirus

    BSOD appears when the Anti-Virus service is started on clients with installed LANDesk Agent with AntiVirus.


    When disabling the Antivirus service the issue will disappear.

    Installing the agent without the Antivirus part the issue will not appear


    In order to solve the problem, you need to disable APIC and update KES modules. Please follow next steps:


    1. Run CMD as Administrator.

    2. Execute following command: bcdedit /set x2apicpolicy disable

    3. Reboot machine.

    4. Install KES and download updates with "Update application modules" option enabled

    5. Enable APIC (if needed). Run from CMD: bcdedit /set x2apicpolicy enable

    6. Reboot machine.
