    ·         (February 25, 2016) LANDESK has updated Security Threat ST000003 and has republished it for customers to download. This version adds a custom variable that allows administrators to check the setting for Recommended updates in windows update feature. This will allow administrators from having clients automatically updated from Windows 7 or Windows 8 to Windows 10..


          Consider the following scenario:

          

     

    Microsoft is going to start pushing out Windows 10 as a “recommended” update. This means that if business users have settings like the one listed below, it will be downloaded and a message will appear asking them to install it.
