Issue with the Landesk Cloud Service Appliance web console not displaying correct time

    Issue

     

    The CSA 4.3 web interface does not always display the correct local time. Manually setting the time through the User Interface does not seem to help.

     

     

    Cause

     

    This is a known issue that is currently being addressed by our engineering team.

    However it is worth noting that this doesn’t affect the log files or the normal operations of the device as the CSA should have the correct date, time, and timezone.

    The defect is in how the Web Console displays the time.

     

     

    Workaround

     

    You can confirm that the CSA has the correct date, time, and timezone by following these steps:

     

    1. Set-up a SSH connection to the device as explained in this article https://community.landesk.com/docs/DOC-2818

     

    2. Run the following command-line : ‘date’

     

    The date/time returned in terminal session should be correct.
