    Issue

You initiate a HTML remote control from a computer with a French keyboard.

You want to remotely control a Mac OSX (El Capitan) client computer also in French language.

After initiating the remote control, the keyboard is QWERTY and not AZERTY, even if you select the "French keyboard" option in the Remote Control settings.

As a result, the letters are not properly mapped, which might be very disruptive.

    Workaround

Fortunately there is a workaround in place:

Step 1: Open the system preferences on the Mac client computer

Step 2: Select the "Keyboard" option

Step 3: Add an english keyboard to the keyboard layouts

Step 4: Select the newly-added english keyboard

The letters should now mapped properly.
