    Using wildcard value in selection criteria


    You can use a wildcard value in the place of a value for selection criteria. To enter the wildcard value use the * character. In this examples we will be using TerminalID as the property. But you can use * for any property value.


    TerminalID = * will include any device that reports a TerminalID. Since every device reports a TerminalID, this will include all devices.



    You can also use partial wildcards. Some examples would be


    TerminalID = PM*      This will include all devices that report a TerminalID that starts with PM



    TerminalID = *One     This will include all devices that report a TerminalID ending with One





    TerminalID =*Paul*     This looks for Paul within the TerminalID value.
