LDMS 2016: Scheduled Tasks Are Not Showing Status

    Environment:

    LANDesk 2016 Core and Remote Consoles

     

    Problem:

    Scheduled tasks are no longer showing their status in the console.

    Solution / Workaround:

    Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

     

    1. Stop the LANDESK Inventory Server service on the Core Server.

    2. Right-click COREDBUTIL.EXE in the Managementsuite folder on the Core Server and select the Run as Administrator option. Click Build Components and wait for it to finish.

    3. Restart the Inventory service on the Core Server.

     

    Relaunch the console and check your the status on your scheduled tasks. The column should be populating now.

     

    If not it is possible that the customers Datamart.xml file could be corrupted, restoring a datamart.xml file from a compatible LDMS version or obtaining one from support and then running CoreDbUtil.exe has proven to resolve these cases.
