Issues activating 2017.1 Data Analytics
Recently it's been reported that there have been issues with 2017.1 activating DA products. The only situation that you'd be affected by this is if you are a new customer during May 2017. Any new purchases since May have been fixed. However, if you're still having issues activating please contact support for further assistance.
How can I tell if I'm affected by this issue?
If you log into https://portal.landesk.com you'll see something like the following image:
Please note that in this image, there are not entitlements for 10.0. When you purchased the product your license should apply to both 10.1 and 10.0 so you should see listings for both in the portal. If you do not see that and you're still having issues logging into your console, getting access to the DA tools, or activating, in general, please feel free to contact support and open a case.
Issues activating 2016.0 Data Analytics
Note: This applies to 2016.0. If you are still on 2016.0 and still have yet to upgrade to 2016.3, please upgrade to a newer release to bypass this issue.
In LDMS 2016 there was an issue with activating the Data Analytics features. This caused users to only see the Console Extender and the WinMagic rule in Data Translation Services. This issue has been addressed in the latest version of LANDESK Management Suite 2016 with Service Update 4. Please upgrade to this version to ensure that your Data Analytics tools are activated correctly.
Please note: This doesn't affect customers who are upgrading to 2016 and only impacts brand new customers.
