Receive Helpdesk 10290 - Disk full error -23 when using the knowledgebase

    Receive Touchpaper Helpdesk 10290, Disk Full error code -23 message when clicking OK on the problem window in the knowledgebase.

    Answer

    Check the following registry entry and make sure it points to a mapped drive instead of a UNC path:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Touchpaper Software | Helpdesk | Knowledge Base | 'KnowledgeBase Dir’

     

    It is also worth checking to see if HKEY_CURRENT_USER | SOFTWARE | Touchpaper Software | Helpdesk | Knowledge Base | KnowledgeBase Dir’ exists.  If it does exist make sure it is pointing to a drive mapping and not a UNC path.
