    Issues

     

    Antivirus Update downloads fail with the following error:

    "GetBases.exe returned an error code: Updater logic error.(27) (1B)"

          The updatersdk.log may show the following errors:

    1. ERROR 1:

    Failed to copy file from 'C:\Program Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\LDLogon\Antivirus8\settings_storage.kvdb' to 'C:/Program Files/LANDesk/ManagementSuite/LDLogon/Antivirus8/Win/temp_bases8/kave\settings_storage.kvdb': 0x80010102 Updater SDK 8 15260 Unable to init SL/ESM: 0x8000004b

     

    2. ERROR 2:

    Failed to open file stream 'y:/Antivirus8/Win/loadbalancing.basesEP10/updater/updater/supd_a970151/updater.xml' in 'rb' mode, result 'No such file or directory(2)'

    ....

    Failed to create path recursively 'y:'

    Failed to create folder (update product folder) 'y:/Antivirus8/Win/loadbalancing.basesEP10/updater/updater/supd_a970151/

     

    Resolutions

     

    1. ERROR 1:

    a. Check that files that failed to copy as noted in the updatersdk.log exist on the target core

    b. Replace any missing files with known good copies from the same version of LDMS

     

    2. ERROR 2:

    a. Depending on Antivirus to be downloaded (Mac and/or Windows), on the Core Server, rename the folder Win (and/or Mac) ..\managementsuite\ldlogon\antivirus8\ as Win_old (and/or Mac_old)

    b. Restart the Core Server and it should work
