Error: "Policy Sync Failed" when refreshing policies in the Portal

    Issue

     

    The following error occurs when refreshing policies in the Portal:

    Policy Sync failed

     

    IIS log on the Core Server shows 500 errors for Posts to the APMSERVICE.

     

    Cause

    Domain account used for the LANDESK and LANDESK1 COM+ objects does not have sufficient rights.

     

     

    Resolution

    Use a Domain Admin account for the LANDESK and LANDESK1 COM+ objects on the Core Server.
