    The following error appears when "create advance agent distribution" is initiated from Agent Configuration.


    "The background process to create advance agent packages failed"


    Other symptoms in the meantime may include the following or more:


    Tasks stuck as active status.

    Parsing information failed: Cannot interpret data.



    An agent with LANDesk Endpoint Security included has been installed on the core server (with or without any policy enabled). Access restrictions are applied on the core server including LANDesk-related directories.



    Add relevant LANDesk folders as Trusted folders in the Endpoint Security Settings or re-deploy an agent without Endpoint Security component included.
