Reset User's application settings

    If needed to reset application settings for a User within service desk, you can run the following script in the database:

     

    delete from tps_application_user_setting

    where tps_user_guid in (select tps_guid from tps_user where tps_name = '<USERNAME>')

     

    Attention: this will delete custom settings for both Console and Web Applications!

    From the Database point of view, the table tps_application_user_setting stores the information regarding all the user settings, including:

    • Personalized dashboards & queries
    • Console settings for windows I.E. size
    • Action panel settings
    • Welcome Views
