When troubleshooting connectivity issues between clients and the Management Server, it may be necessary to determine which ports are currently open.
You can determine this using the Telnet command via CMD.
NOTE: - You may need to enable this first. Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off > Telnet Client (check this and apply)
Telnet format will be:- telnet [domain name/IP] [port]
NOTE:- A successful connection will result in a blank screen, whereas a failed connection will throw a 'Connect Failed' message.
Successful connection using port 80
Failed connection on port 502
