    Introduction

Its not common to see AppSense agents installed on Domain Controllers however you may see uploads via BITS fail and generate warning events with ID 61

    Detail

The CCA relies on the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) to upload the events.

The upload itself is iniated by the Network service account on the machine initiating the upload.

The Management Server website sets default IIS permissions to Domain Computer to upload events however nothing is listed for Domain Controllers which DCs are members of.

Should you wish DC's to upload events you will need to add the permssions for Domain Controllers in IIS

In IIS expand the sites list the Management Server is under > Navigate to Deployment > Events > Right Click and edit permissions > Add the "Domain Controllers" Group set permission to Read and Write.
