Inbound mail polls but doesn't log any errors or log incidents

    If you set up ITBM inbound mail but have not checked the outbound server settings, you can get into a situation where the inbound mail polls but does not log any errors, the mail stays unread and no process is created.

    This is because the User settings have been set to not allow new user creation, so instead, the mail engine attempts to send the message informing you that you are not a user of the system, but fails.
