Enabling Windows Installer logs for CCA invoked installations

    Windows Installer logs are not produced by default for installations performed by the CCA on a managed end-point making it more difficult to diagnose package installation issues.


    This is by design in CCA builds 8.2.606.0 onwards

    Create the REG_SZ value MSILoggingPath in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppSense Technologies\Communications Agent" on the end-point and set it to the name of an existing local folder where you wish the Windows Installer log files to be generated.
