If you do not enter a prefix with the CCA client access credentials (i.e. just use 'administrator'), the CCA attempts to use the domain prefix, then the local prefix and then the unqualified login.

This would result in the DOMAIN\Administrator being tried before the MACHINENAME\Administrator account.

If you enter the domain or machine name prefix in the credentials manager this failing over does not occur.

If you wish to specify the CCA to use local machine accounts, rather than specifying individual machine names you can use the LOCALHOST\ prefix.
