How to reset/redo client certificates on a Mac

Note: the following folders are system/hidden by default on a mac.

Terminal commands to show hidden files and folders in the Finder:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true ; killall Finder

Here is the command to revert back to the normal view:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean false ; killall Finder

    1. To match the Cert number shown to the file names of the certs(.0 File extension), you'll need to go to Windows Agent Settings>Client Connectivity settings>Core Information.  The number and filename are both shown here.

    2. Go to: /usr/local/LANDesk/common/cbaroot/certs

    3. Make sure the .0 files present are what you have checked in the Mac Agent Configuration>Standard LANDESK Agent.

Note:  To match the Cert number shown to the file names of the certs(.0 File extension), you'll need to go to Windows Agent Settings>Client Connectivity settings>Core Information.  The number and filename are both shown here.

    4. You can delete unused .0 files and any .1 files you see.

    5. Go to: /usr/local/LANDesk/common/cbaroot/broker

Note: You'll likely need to do a Get Info and go to Sharing and Permissions and add your admin account to the folder to gain access.

    6. Once inside the folder create a folder called "Old" and move all files in the broker folder into it.

    7. Open up a terminal and run the command: sudo /usr/local/LANDesk/common/brokerconfig -r

If done correctly, new cert files will be created in the /usr/local/LANDesk/common/cbaroot/broker folder and a new cert will have been sent/setup on the server.
