How to enable and find the Server Configuration Portal (SCP) log files

    SCP logs are sometimes required for troubleshooting problems. They can be enabled  by clicking on the instance (e.g. DesktopNow/Management/Management Servers/<SERVER>/<INSTANCE> or DesktopNow/Personalization/Personalzation Servers/<SERVER>/<INSTANCE> or ) and setting Logging to Enabled.

     

    Once the logs are enabled you will find them in the following location on the server - the location is different depending on which version of software you have:

     

    • Version 10.0 - C:\Program Files\AppSense\Server Configuration Portal\Bin\ServerConfiguration.log
    • Version 10.1 - C:\ProgramData\AppSense\SCU\ServerConfiguration.log
