    Terminal Emulation 7.3

XTERM provides VT100/VT220 and selected features from higher-level terminals such as VT320/VT420/VT520 (VTxxx).

It emulates VT220 and Tektronix 4010.

When customer needs to use XTERM emulation type with TN Client 2-in-1 Generic license, one must be activated and registered for VT emulation.

TN Client  2-in-1 product license will ask you to register for a specific emulation type (VT|HP or IBMHOST)

TN Client  2-in-1 product license works for VT/HP or IBM, but not all.  You have to select which one you will use when you activate and register the license.

TN Client  4-in-1 works with for both types (VT|HP or IBMHOST) and does not ask you to specify which emulation type to use during product activation and registration.

The 4-in-1 TN client refers to a single product that works with all four different emulation types.  They are VT, HP, IBM 3270 and IBM 5250.

The 2-in-1 supports VT/HP or IBM 3270/5250 types of emulation.  When one tries to activate and register license one must chose desired emulation type.

XTERM is a VT emulator type.
