Changes in a User's Options / Preferences are ignored - Why can this be the case?
1. The user is currently logged into GoldMine also on a different machine
>> When exiting GoldMine the current sessions Options are stored back into the user's INI file e.g. JOHN.INI which means if the user is still logged into a different machine the currently made changes are ignored and overwritten by the active session's options
2. The global GM.INI contains Override settings for the specific options
>> This means regardless what the user may set for him-/herself as options will be active for the current GoldMine session but on the next start of GoldMine the Overrides from the GM.INI will be valid for the user.
3. The user's INI file is write protected or managed globally by IT on a file level
4. The user's INI is corrupt and/or may contain duplicate entries for the setting
>> This can be verified by temporarily renaming the user's INI file and starting GoldMine again and to verify if the setting is sticky
