Name of database connection must be specified. Default database must be specified on the application server. The error occurs when trying to log into the smart client via a 3tier connection.
To correct the error, perform the following steps from the HEAT Service Management Application Server. 1. Click on Start > All Programs > FrontRange Solutions > Server Management Suite Enterprise > Service Management Server Manager 2. Select the 'Set Default Database' button 3. Click OK on the confirmation dialog box.
