    What important information contains the system record (ACCOUNTNO = 90CF-SYSTEM-REC) in the CONTSUPP table?





    Resolution

     

    - Every CONTSUPP table contains one single system record which is identified by ACCOUNTNO = 90CF-SYSTEM-REC

    - if there are more than one system record in the CONTSUPP table, it will cause issues in GoldMine Web (GMWEB) and GoldMine Mobile (GMME)  (if an Server Error - Get Local Exclude string error is experienced, please refer to Knowledge Articles #  11702, # 11856 and # 15713)


    The following fields of the system record does/can contain important information:


    1. ACCOUNTNO

           

    Column/Field: ACCOUNTNO

    Value: fix value: 90CF-SYSTEM-REC


    Meaning: this value indicates that this is the System record. The row shall not be modified manually, not be deleted and shall exists only one time per Contact Set Database



    2. LINKACCT


    Column/Field: LINKACCT

    Value: variable value: if set then always with the serial number part of a GoldMine license


    Meaning:

    - if the LINKACCT contains a value the specific Contact Set should be be available only from a GoldMine system with a certain license number
    - this can be set by a user with master rights via Tools >> Database >> Open Database >> Properties >?> Grant access from this GoldMine license only; if the GoldMine license number is for example E-000594-BETANR-6TTME-WHRWJ-KEDAV-KEYCO-BETA1-LICXY >> the LINKACCT value is 6TTME-WHRWJ-KEDAV

    3. NOTES

    Value: variable values: {ExcludeViews:.v100002} or {ExcludeViews:.v100001.v100003} or {ExcludeViews:.v1I6HKXF6$-UUO W}


    Meaning:

    - the content in this field indicates that a/several certain Custom Screens is/are not available in the current Contact Set Database

    - this can be set by a user with master rights per Custom View via Tools >> Configure >> Custom Screens >> Properties > uncheck This Screen is available in the current contact set >> OK
    - If this option is not ticked, the NOTES field contains the following information for a single excluded custom screen:
