How to change the default timeout value of 5 seconds for Heat Screenpops

    Instructions on changing the default timeout value for HEAT screenpops



    1. On the client machine, open the registry

    2. Find the entry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FrontRange Solutions\Contact Center\HeatConnector

    3. Add a new DWORD value of DDETimeout

    4. Change the DWORD value to decimal (by default it will be HEX)

    5. Enter new timeout in seconds

    6. Relaunch Agent Dashboard and Call Logging
