    Not all primary fields are displaying on the new contact screen in GoldMine Mobile when setting a default record type


    [STEPS TO REPRODUCE]
    - On a demo database
    - Set the default record type in GoldMine Mobile
    1. Log into GoldMine Mobile
    2. Go to More > Settings > Contact > Default Record Type
    3. Set default record type to Car for testing purposes
    4. Click on Contacts in GoldMine Mobile
    5. Go to All Contacts
    6. Click on the + sign to add a new Contact

    >> RESULTS: Only some of the primary fields will appear
    If you want to add any other fields you have to click the Add Field button each time you add a new contact


    Resolution

    [REASON]
    - GoldMine Mobile is intended for small hand held devices and smartphones, therefore the amount of initially displayed fields was programmatically restricted
    - It is intended behavior of GoldMine Mobile to display initially only the following (back end) fields, so when the specific record type contains fields which are not one of the following they will not appear on the initial screen when creating a new record within GoldMine Mobile.



    Any additional field can be added via the Add button




    - Once a field is filled and the record is reviewed the next time the field will be displayed
