When attempting to upload a file, you receive an error message:
The file that you attempted to upload, filename.ext, has a restricted file extension. Please contact your System Administrator for a list of allowed file extensions for upload.
The Administrator can control which types of files can be uploaded via the 'Attachment Types' option in the Admin UI.
- Log in to the tenant with the Administrator role
- Go to Configure Application
- On the Home tab, under System Settings, click 'Attachment Types'
- Click 'Add New...'
- Enter the file extension pattern, For Example; *.sql
- Click Save
