Needs assistance setting Task field from Incident

    How can one automatically fill in the Task's Subject/Summary from the Incident's Summary at the time of creation.


    Resolution

    One way to accomplish this is to modify the IncidentAssocTaskAssignment relationship to push the value.  Click on Configure Application Click on Business Obejcts Select Incident Click on Relationships Click on the IncidentAssocTaskAssignment  Click on the + in the Update Task.Assignments Fields and Select the Subject for "Set Field" Select Subject for the "To this Object's Field or Value" Save the relationship  Any new Task created from Incident will push the value from the Incident.Subject to the Task.Assignment.Subject.
